UPDATE ...

Happening here and there ...

1st April 2011 New Mayor, Datuk Mohd Jaafar Mohd Atan takes over from making him the 6th for Shah Alam, taking over from Datuk Mazalan Md Noor whose term expires on the 31st March 2011. He states that;

"We have to also adopt a sense of urgency and concern towards the demands and needs (of residents), through flexible and practical management method"

His priorities are :-
  1. Improving the City's cleanliness with an effective refuse collection.
  2. Improving the Council's delivery system especially the maintenance of public infrastructure like parks and drainage.
  3. Providing and integrated and efficient public transportation.
There are 180,000 property owners who pays annual assessment fees worth RM142 Million, and sure enough they(we) wants proper use of those funds for our benefit.

Snowalk@i-city, Shah Alam, not there yet since the snowfall, 1st in Malaysia, and those who have been there seems to like it, you need to pay though. If you have winter clothing including shoe bring along, save on the rental(i think they will allow it).
